Atholton Swim Club follows the American Red Cross Learn to Swim Curriculum.

The program is based on a logical, six-level progression that helps swimmers about 5+ years old develop their water safety, survival and swimming skills. It is designed to give participants a positive learning experience.

Small class sizes of up to 5 swimmers per instructor allow instructors to pay special attention to student abilities and needs. There is no minimum age for swim lessons. However, there is a requirement that a child must be able to comfortably stand in the 3′ shallow end, making them approximately 40″ tall.

As per the American Red Cross Program, sessions run Monday through Friday for two weeks with a built-in rain date. If the rain date is not needed, the instructors will complete the evaluations on Thursday and cancel the last Friday class.  Please refer to the information below regarding Inclement Weather.
